Admitted to Bar 1986

David has been with RothBlair since 1988. He brings to the firm valuable knowledge and experience in commercial litigation and appellate law. David has represented individuals and businesses in an assortment of legal matters — including construction issues, uniform commercial code concerns and landlord/tenant disputes.

To further apply his legal training in our community, David provides free legal services to the Court Appointed Special Advocate Program of Mahoning County and to Mahoning County’s Volunteer Legal Services Program. In 2004, the VLSP honored David as its Lawyer of the Year, and the Mahoning County Bar Association bestowed upon him the Distinguished Service Award in 2009.

David’s educational background includes a B.A. in History from The King’s College in New York. Highlighted by an internship with a U.S. Senate Judiciary subcommittee, he graduated summa cum laude from King’s in 1983. Then as a recipient of the Portage County Bar Association’s Albert Lincoln Caris scholarship, David attended Ohio State University College of Law where he obtained his J.D. in 1986.

Outside of his law practice, David serves the community as an active member of The Old North Church of Canfield, and as a Director of both A.I.D., Inc. of Salem and the Columbiana Area Chamber of Commerce.
