Robert J. Herberger is licensed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and concentrates his practice on intellectual property matters, including patents, copyrights, trademarks and trade secrets.

Attorney Herberger graduated with honors with a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering from Youngstown State University in 1982. Prior to attending law school, he worked as a chemical engineer at Texas Instruments in Austin, Texas and then Electrochemicals in Youngstown, Ohio. He received his Juris Doctor Degree with honors from the University of Akron Law School.

Early in his law career, Attorney Herberger organized the Youngstown/Warren Inventors Association to help the area’s creative talent by assisting inventors to develop, protect and market their inventions.  Attorney Herberger has been involved in several intellectual property cases in Federal Courts across the country, and has represented his clients in patent and trademark prosecution before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Attorney Herberger and his wife Beth have six grown children: Justin, Robert Jr., Kelcie, Katie, Callan and Jarrett, and reside in Beaver Township, Ohio.
