Robert G. Lev concentrates on intellectual property law matters, specializing in patent prosecution and business planning centered on intellectual property law.

Robert graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Ohio University in 1972. Afterwards, he worked as an electrical engineer in the electric power industry in a number of capacities.

He served in the United States Patent and Trademark Office for eight years, and became a senior patent examiner, working in a variety of different technologies. These included electronic banking, commercial security, electromagnetic transducers, television cameras, and cellular telephone systems. While in the Patent Office, he was named to the most-qualified list to be appointed to the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences.

Robert continued his work in advanced intelligent telephonic networks while representing a local telephone company as an attorney in Alexandra, Virginia. He also expanded his technical experiences to include semiconductor design and manufacture, holographic technology, MRI technology, aeronautics and concrete technology.

He organized his law firm, Lev Intellectual Property Consulting, in Youngstown, Ohio in 1996. While developing his Youngstown intellectual property law practice, Robert has served as a member of the boards of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation, the Ebony Life Line Support Group and Angels for Animals.
