Raymond J. Hartsough
Admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2017
Attorney Hartsough joined the firm in 2017 to concentrate his practice in the areas of business law and intellectual property law.
Ray was born and raised in Austintown, Ohio, where he graduated from Austintown Fitch High School. In 2014, Ray graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. In 2017, Ray earned three degrees, Juris Doctor (Cum Laude), Master of Laws in Intellectual Property, and Master of Business Administration (JD/LLM/MBA) from University of Akron School of Law and University of Akron College of Business Administration. In 2017, Ray also earned a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law and Technology from University of Akron School of Law.
Prior to completing his education, Ray was enlisted as a soldier in the 249th Army Band where he served for six years. Ray has been actively involved for a number of years with volunteer organizations in the Greater Youngstown Area, including Home For Good, the Community Initiative to Reduce Violence (C.I.R.V.), and the Austintown Band Parents, where Ray currently serves as the Financial Vice President. Ray is also a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Akron Bar Association, and the Cleveland Intellectual Property Law Association (CIPLA).
Ray, his wife, Molly, and their son, Alex, currently reside in Austintown. Ray is a member of Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Austintown where he and his family regularly attend services.
